The holidays will look a little bit different this year at Walt Disney World- but there is still plenty of magic and holiday fun to be had! Beginning November 6, 2020, and running through December 30, 2020, you will find new and favorite ways to celebrate the season!
Enjoy festive décor, themed merchandise, seasonal food & beverage offerings and entertainment all across Walt Disney World. Holiday magic will be in full force at the four theme parks and Disney Springs, and Santa Claus will make time for special pop-up appearances at each location, waving and exclaiming holiday wishes to all.
You will be delighted by the sight of festive flotillas at Animal Kingdom, holiday promenades at EPCOT and merry motorcades at Hollywood Studios. Character cavalcades at Magic Kingdom Park will take on a special holiday twist, with Christmas friends on festive floats in their holiday finest. Keep an eye out for the Gingerbread Men, Elves and Reindeer! And the Toy Soldiers will join the Main Street Philharmonic as they march through Magic Kingdom Park, bringing musical holiday cheer for all to hear.
When night falls, special projection effects will give a festive look to Cinderella Castle this year, providing a colorful backdrop for our Guests’ photos. The appearance of the iconic castle will be transformed with a rotating series of designs including a whimsical Christmas sweater and a regal overlay of red, green and gold ornamentation. This will be in place of the Castle Dream Lights.
Minnie Mouse, Santa Goofy and their friends will still be joining you for a festive holiday-themed dinner at Hollywood & Vine, at Hollywood Studios, beginning November 6th!
And over at Disney Springs, the Christmas Tree Trail will be back this year, with elaborately-themed trees! Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar will also be transformed into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar, complete with seasonal decor and a limited-time menu. And there will be extra-magical snowfalls in areas of Town Center, West Side and The Landing, to add to your holiday cheer!
All of your favorite themed trees will return to the hotels of the Walt Disney World Resort, too!
And beginning on November 27th, enjoy a modified Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, complete with the food booths you love! And live musical performances will be available from JOYFUL!, and Voices of Liberty will present traditional carols.
While there won’t be holiday fireworks, gingerbread displays, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or the Candlelight Processional this year, Disney is excited to bring you holiday magic in new and creative ways!
