Walt Disney World
Arrive at Wilderness Lodge to a huge twinkling Christmas tree and a roaring fireplace. During the holidays, all of Walt Disney World's hotels are decked out in festive decor, but there is just something special about Wilderness Lodge's cozy and welcoming lobby that makes you want to linger, with a warm beverage and a good book.
Take Wilderness Lodge's convenient boat right over to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, where you will enjoy holiday fireworks, Christmas parade, cookies and cocoa, snow on Main Street and more. Be sure to wear your ugly Christmas sweater, and have Disney's PhotoPass photographers capture your picture for the perfect Christmas card.
Then, don your holiday finest and head to a swanky, swingin' soiree at Jollywood Nights, a brand-new special event at Hollywood Studios debuting this year! Pop-up jazz clubs wait for you with live music, festive cocktails and fun food, the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! show and lots more.
Don't forget to indulge in a monorail crawl, to enjoy the life-size gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian, and take in all the holiday decor at several of Disney's distinct resorts. Lounges and coffee shops will offer holiday libations, so you can feel fa-la-la-la-la fine!
Disneyland
Celebrate the holidays in the Happiest Place on Earth! Begin your vacation welcomed into the Grand Californian Hotel, where the sounds of holiday piano music and a cozy fireplace are waiting to melt your cares away. Keep an eye out for Santa, who visits during this time of year. And indulge in unique seasonal treats you can't find anywhere else.
Then, head into the theme parks with your own private entrance, directly in California Adventure Park! Visit Radiator Springs, and see how the residents celebrate with holiday overlays on several of your favorite rides! Next, hop over to Disneyland Park, where "it's a small world holiday" and Haunted Mansion Holiday are sure to get you in the holiday mood! Enjoy a festive seasonal treat, like Disneyland's famous hand-made candy canes, as you watch the daily Christmas parade.
Universal Orlando Resort
Begin your holiday adventure by arriving in a quaint little coastal village in Italy- without flying across the globe! Portofino Bay Hotel welcomes you with a giant Christmas tree in the piazza, and carolers performing daily. Take your convenient water taxi to the theme parks to enjoy Grinchmas, meet the Mean Green One himself, see Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's, and even Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Sip hot Butterbeer and take in the holiday performances of the Frog Choir and Celestina Warbeck. Top off your night with the Holiday Castle Lights on Hogwarts Castle.
Very Merrytime Cruise
Welcome aboard Disney Cruise Line's most festive sailings! Very Merrytime Cruises are available from Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral and Galveston this December, and feature exquisite decor, a life-size gingerbread house, your favorite characters in their holiday finest, visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, a tree lighting ceremony, crafts, activities and more.
And warm up your winter with a stop at Castaway Cay, Disney's private island! There's even a "double dip" itinerary available, that makes two stops at Castaway Cay, for twice the warm sand, turquoise water and Caribbean relaxation.
Adventures by Disney Rhine & Danube River Cruises
Explore some of Europe's most magnificent locales as you sail along the Rhine or Danube Rivers on an Adventures by Disney River Cruise vacation. Sailing in December is extra-special, with the Danube Christmas Market Cruise.
